We started in 2007/2008, playing a few friendly matches and entered a tournament at the end of the season, which we did really well in. At the tournament, many other teams approached us saying that we should enter the Somerset Girls league this season, so we did.
The main emphasis of our game is to learn new skills each week, teamwork, to try to win, but most of all to have good fun!
We currently have an Under 13's team running, which consists of girls from the U12
and U13's (year 7 and 8). We have had a really successful season so far, winning
6 matches, drawing 1 and losing 3. Training is on a Friday night at 6.30 -

The Berrow JFC U14 girls team is going from strength to strength. We started in 2007 with about 6 players and have now expanded to a squad of over 20.
Last season we ended up 3rd in our league and this year we are facing the new challenge of an 11 a side football on full size pitches.
We have an excellent coaching team consisting of Gareth, Colin and Matt and train on Wednesday evenings. Our
first league fixture is on 19th September.
We have been really lucky to have received sponsorship from Orange Amplification who have paid for new kit, balls and training tops. Many thanks to them for their generosity. New photo of team in new kit to follow shortly.
The team are looking forward to the new season.

The Girls Under 14’s won the 2010 / 2011 Somerset FA Girls fair play award. They were presented with a certificate, a big plaque, and a cheque for £200.
